Editorial: Positive image great news for little Gympie

THE Gympie region has been very lucky in the last 12 to 18 months with some very high profile women doing us proud.

We've had country music sensation Caitlyn Shadbolt fly the flag for the Gold City on X Factor and Cindy Vogels show her millinery talent on the world stage, decking out Lady Gaga.

The latest to grab national headlines again is our very own Stay at Home Mum, Jody Allen.

Jody was featured on the nation's most popular breakfast show, Sunrise, spruiking her latest book yesterday.

She has recently expanded her online empire into print with her second book Live Well On Less: A Practical Guide to Running a Lean Household.

Her new mantra is "I want to make frugal cool" and that's exactly what she is doing. Along the way she is also showing how cool the Gympie region is to live and work.
