Polo clinic goes ahead

THE Sunshine Coast Polo Club’s Introduction to Polo Weekend has been rescheduled for this weekend.

The event was originally scheduled for April, but rain forced its postponement at the last moment.

Organisers were left disappointed after months of planning and preparations.

The clinic is an opportunity for people interested in learning polo, or those needing to brush up on skills.

There will be workshops covering aspects such as equipment and tack, hitting the ball, basic tactics and team play.

The clinic will take place at the 7 Sisters Polo Ground in Gympie from 9am to 4pm.

Further information can be obtained by calling Phil Dowling on 0438 661 192.

Alternatively, visit the club’s website at www.sunshinecostpolo.com.au
