One teenager dead, another in hospital after Teewah rollover

UPDATE, 12PM: Police have confirmed an 18-year-old man has died after a Toyota LandCruiser rolled on Teewah Beach overnight.

The Queensland Police Service reported the crash happened on Teewah Beach Rd in Noosa North Shore just after 1am Sunday.

An 18-year-old man from Bray Park, Moreton Bay was a passenger and died on scene.

Queensland Ambulance Services reported they were called about 2.55am.

The driver, a 19-year-old Cashmere man, was taken to Nambour Hospital with minor injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing its investigations.

INITIAL REPORT: One person is feared dead and a teenage boy is injured after a vehicle rollover on Teewah Beach in Noosa North Shore early Sunday.

Queensland Ambulance Services reported they were called about 2.55am, and a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said officers remained on scene as of 8.15am.

QAS reported one patient was assessed for critical injuries. It is understood they weren't transported from the scene.

The second patient, a teenage boy, was taken to the Nambour Hospital in a stable condition with no obvious injuries.

Police are expected to provide further details later on Sunday.
