AUSTRALIA won some silverware at the Hong Kong Sevens, but it still has a battle on its hands if it wants to automatically qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
The Aussies won the Plate final to finish fifth overall in the latest round, but, more importantly, extended their advantage over fifth-placed England to six points with three rounds of the World Series to play in 2015.
The next round will be in Tokyo this weekend.
The top four teams at the end of the series automatically qualify for Rio, where sevens rugby will make its Olympics debut.
Australia lost its Cup quarter-final in Hong Kong to South Africa (7-5), before winning the Plate competition by beating England (12-7) and the USA (21-17).
A double from captain Ed Jenkins (pictured) - named in the tournament's Dream Team - helped the Aussies to a crucial win over England.
Fiji beat New Zealand 33-19 to win the Cup final.
