Loaded semi-trailer tips, crushes parked car

UPDATE: A man has freed himself from a semi-trailer after the truck, which was carrying a load of dirt, rolled onto another car. 

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Queen St and Regent St in Caloundra after the rollover was reported about 10.58am. 

Paramedics on the scene have since reported the man does not have any obvious injuries.

The parked car was unoccupied at the time of the crash.

The incident is not causing significant traffic issues in the area. 

BREAKING: Emergency crews are rushing to the scene of a rollover crash on a busy Sunshine Coast intersection.

Initial reports indicate a semi-trailer has collided with a parked car and rolled at the intersection of Regent St and Queen St in Caloundra.

The intersection is next to the Caloundra Primary School.

Queensland Ambulance Service and Queensland Fire and Emergency Service crews are en route to the scene.

UPDATE: Age released of woman killed in horror crash

The two vehicles collided head on at Mary Valley Rd. A woman has been confirmed dead following a horror crash at the intersection of the Mary Valley Highway and Birt Road at Long Flat, just south of Gympie, this afternoon. The two vehicles involved, including a small white care, appear to have sustained major damage, and it was earlier reported two people had to be freed from the wreckage of one vehicle. Three people are being assessed by ambulance officers.
