A PARAGLIDER fell 10 to 20 metres to his death at Mt Archer near Kilcoy on Sunday morning.

Paramedics and the Sunshine Coast-based RACQ Careflight rescue helicopter's medical team of a Doctor and intensive care paramedic were called to the scene just after 10am but were unable to revive the man in his mid 30s.

He died at the scene from severe injuries.

It's thought the man crashed due to equipment problems when he was trying to land, the Courier Mail reported.
