Northern Outlaws hold golf fundraiser for new season

THE NORTHERN Outlaws players will host a four player Ambrose golf day at the Noosa Golf Club tomorrow to raise money for their season starting next week.

Since the Gympie Devils and Noosa Pirates will play in a combined team this year the team wanted to hold an event for both clubs.

If you would like to meet some of this year's players and support the local team make sure to come down on Sunday to the course.

The day will tee off at 12.30pm with golf, beers on course, finger food post game as well as a barbeque lunch with carts available on the day included with the $400 coast for each team.

The Outlaws have had 23 teams agree to play with two team withdrawing at the last minute so there are still two spots available for a team of four.

Gympie coach Anthony Zipf said you do not have to be at golf to enjoy the day and encourage any interested community members to come down and support the team.

He said the last time Gympie tried to host an event three years ago they unfortunately had to be postponed but with clear skies expected tis weekend it should be a good day for golf.

For more information regarding the event contact Anthony Zipf on 0408 563 083.
