Our ladies doing the business

IT IS wonderful to see Gympie women recognising and celebrating each other's successes and achievements in business and the workplace.

There are countless women throughout our region achieving great things, juggling demanding jobs with the not-small demands of family.

Congratulations to Jellina White for taking out the two major titles at the Gympie Women in Business awards on Wednesday night - Business of the Year and the Top Gun Woman of Excellence.

Jellina not only runs a successful business as owner manager of the Gympie Bank of Queensland, but she also juggles motherhood, marriage and community involvement.

Her positive, upbeat attitude is no doubt one of the secrets to her success, but as she says, careful planning, believing in yourself and good old-fashioned hard work are the best advice for success.
