House need a tidy? Why not bare it all...

SCANTILY clad maids and buffed blokes handy with an iron are changing the way domestic duties are done - but it's all in good, clean fun.

Owner and founder Rickie Hodges saw an opportunity in the market and launched Nude Cleaning Services on the Sunshine Coast with the help of friend Clair Sutton.

Since launching the exotic cleaning business, Mr Hodges' phone hasn't stopped ringing, with men and women wanting to work for him.

So what does it take to be an exotic cleaner? Remember, keep it clean.

"They're only doing minimal cleaning, it is a novelty perving thing," Mr Hodges said.

"Everyone's different and every customer's different, we don't just need perfect, fake-looking people, we need real people with a personality as well.

"We do want a basic cleaning ability, we'll make beds, iron clothes, do the dishes, basic floors, but it's not a full on cleaning company, we're not scrubbing the toilet."

Mr Hodges said exotic cleaning had taken off in America and Europe.

"That's why I looked at it, people definitely like it," he said.

"I had a big company approach me and want to do a deal with me and go Australia-wide. They can supply staff for me in any city.

"I did look at the nude and topless hostess and waiters but that market was sewed up."

Mr Hodges has been inundated with customers looking to spice up their housework.

"I'm about even on par with men and women," he said.

"Women want naked men to do the ironing."

Mr Hodges said his workers were not allowed to be touched and sexual acts were prohibited.
