One injury after two crashes

A GYMPIE man was given a ticket for failing to give way on Saturday after a two- vehicle crash.

About 12.40pm, a Toyota ute and a Holden ute collided on the corner of Garrick and Musgrave Street.

A Gympie police spokesperson said no one was injured.

In another two-vehicle crash about 5.54pm, along the Bruce Highway near the Matilda service station at Kybong, one person was injured.

The spokesperson said the injuries were not serious.
