OK, business, open wide and say ah

BUSINESS people are urged to help take the temperature of the Gympie Region's economy over the next four weeks by participating in the May/June 2012 Gympie region business confidence survey.

Conducted every six months by the Gympie Regional Council in partnership with major business, industry and other government groups, the anonymous survey opens today.

It takes three to five minutes to complete and contains a section for any additional comments that allow businesses to communicate with both the council and their peers.

The results are collated in a report.

As an incentive this year the Gympie Chamber of Commerce has offered five $200 vouchers to be used in a Gympie Region restaurant for five survey participants.

Established in early 2010, the Gympie Regional Council contracted Boardroom Business to create the regular business confidence survey series, in partnership with the major business, industry and other government groups.

The survey regularly receives more than 200 business participants from across the region.
