No plea entered to charges

A GYMPIE man accused of breaking into a woman's home and sexually assaulting her last week was remanded in custody yesterday to face four charges in Gympie Magistrates Court.

The 18-year-old man will faces two charges of burglary and commit an indictable offence, one charge of common assault and one charge of sexual assault when he appears again on July 2.

The charges relate to alleged incidents that took place in Tucker St around midnight on June 15.

The man is alleged to have stolen some cash, an MP3 player and three electronic game consoles and games.

He entered no plea when he appeared in court under police guard yesterday.
