JOE Jonas is joining The Voice Australia in 2018, replacing outgoing coach Seal.
The Grammy-nominated singer, best known as one third of The Jonas Brothers, will join returning coaches Kelly Rowland, Delta Goodrem and Boy George. RnB superstar Usher had previously been rumoured to be the new fourth coach.
Joe and his brothers Nick and Kevin sold more than 17 million albums thanks to hits including S.O.S. and Burnin' Up.
All three brothers have also pursued acting, with Nick notably starring in the MMA drama series Kingdom. Joe is reportedly engaged to Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner.
Joe is now the frontman of the multi-platinum-selling band DNCE, which found success with its self-titled debut album, having won the MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist and Best PUSH Artist at the MTV European Music Awards in 2016.
After starring on The Voice earlier this year in the US after coach Adam Levine selected him as mentor for his team, Joe is now ready to come to Australia and fill one of the turning chairs himself.
"I couldn't be more excited to be a part of a massive show like The Voice, especially getting to do it all in Australia where the fans are amazing," Joe said in a statement released by Channel 9.
"I had a taste of the show in the US this year, so now I have the knowledge to take #TeamJoe all the way in 2018."
