GYMPIE'S Commonwealth Bank has a new branch manager, Tennille Baynham.

Tennille started her employment with the Commonwealth Bank as a customer service representative.

She has held a variety of roles within the branch structure since she started and has been a branch manager for the past five years, most recently in Gladstone.

Tennille is looking forward to working closely with members of the Gympie community and using her almost 20 years of experience to help make banking easier and simpler for the branch's customers.

"I'm excited to bring my banking experience to the Gympie branch, and to provide customers with new and different ways to make banking easier for them every day," she said.

"I have a particular focus on providing exceptional customer service and working with customers to achieve their financial goals."

Tennille is looking forward to meeting local customers as she begins this new chapter in her working life in Gympie.

She also can't wait to become involved in local community activities.

Regional general manager Russell Giddings believes Tennille will be a valuable asset to the Gympie branch team.

"The Gympie branch prides itself on having a CAN do attitude towards creating a better banking experience for its local customers," he said.

"Tennille's calibre, experience, and local knowledge make her a valuable addition to the Gympie branch.

"She is set to take Gympie's customer service levels to a new high."

Commonwealth Bank Gympie branch is open Monday to Thursday, 9.30am-4pm.

On Fridays, the bank's opening hours are 9.30am-5pm.
