Muster visit sparks tour plan

US duo Montgomery Gentry only played one show on their first visit to Australia - at the Optus Gympie Music Muster.

Didn't get to see them? Never fear. They liked it so much, they're hoping to come back again for more dates next year.

"Even being a one-off show for us, we weren't going to pass up the opportunity to come to Australia and play," band member Troy Gentry says of their single-date visit.

"We talked to the promoter last night for a little while and are already entertaining possibilities of coming back again next year."

You can tell they all enjoyed their short Australian break.

"We can't wait to get booked back here," Eddie Montgomery smiles.

Eddie and Troy took some time out just before their show on Main Stage on Sunday night to talk to the Gympie Times for an exclusive video interview.

From their new album to field parties and their surprise at just how 'far out' the Muster site is, it can all be seen and heard in the video below.
