Music Plus ends on a high note

THE final Music Plus night or, at least, until the weather warms up again, was held last Thursday evening.

It was terrific to see the number of young folk increasing their skills in front of a live audience of about 40.

Young guitarists Tracey Magyar and Georgia Bardsley are improving their talents out of sight, with their singing voices growing stronger and staying in tune.

It’s also good to see piano teacher Joanna Gorka partnering her student Emma Humphrey on the keyboards.

Along with the Mainly Music ensemble, the audience also did some of the entertaining with community singing.
