Mothar Mountain will tremble

MOTHAR Mountain trembles with the roar of powerful engines tonight as Gympie Speedway hosts the North Coast Radiators Street Sedan 20/20 feature.

The headline event, staged over 40 gruelling laps, will have drivers trading paint in pursuit for victory with one slip up all it takes to be put out of contention.

Drivers will find their ability to concentrate tested as much as their skill behind the wheel.

Meanwhile, Gympie speedway fans are set to pack the stands again for the second meet of the new season and the program on offer refuses to disappoint.

Alongside the thrilling action of Street Sedans, there will be the second round of the Performax International ASCF Junior Sedans, QSCA Junior Street Sedans, Super Streets and Modified Production.

Gympie Speedway publicity officer Amy Adams is eagerly awaiting tonight’s action.

“Big noise, big cars and big action with the Gympie Saloon Car Club!” she said.

Gates open this afternoon at 3pm ahead of racing at 4.30pm.

Cost is adults $25, concession $20, and children under 13 free.
