Get your motor running for needy

THE annual Ulysses Gympie and Tin Can Bay toy, food and cash collection Christmas charity run is on again.

The run will depart from Norman Point, Tin Can Bay at 9am on December 11 and will then reassemble and leave from Gympie’s Victory Hotel at 10.30am, finishing at Nelson Reserve (behind Gympie swimming pool) at 10.50am.

All motorcycle riders are invited to participate on their motorcycles, scooters, trikes or spiders.

All gifts, food and money will be donated to St Vincent de Paul charity to go to the needy.

Collectors started at IGA, Coles, Centro and in Mary Street this week and will continue in this role until December 8.

Collections of Christmas goodies will also be held at IGA-Tin Can Bay and Woolworths, Cooloola Cove today.
