Miners ask for crowd support

A FINAL round clash between the Gympie women’s Miners and Buderim has the potential to go right down to the wire tonight.

The match will be played on Field 1 at the One Mile Ovals and the game has a lot riding on it.

The Miners are currently sharing second place on the ladder with Buderim and tonight’s result will break the deadlock.

It’s essential the Gympie team defeats Buderim to finish outright second in the standings.

An inferior for and against countback with goals will favour Buderim should the teams draw.

Should Gympie win, finishing second affords the women’s side two bites at the finals’ cherry.

The luxury of an added chance at making the grand final will lift a lot of pressure off the players’ shoulders come the play-offs.

Kick off tonight at the One Mile Ovals is at 7pm and crowd support is encouraged.
