With queues already forming for the CLA wagon derivative, it's expected to be hot property.

There will be four models available, with the range-topping AMG version starting from $89,900.

The base CLA 200 produces a maximum output of 115kW and 250Nm of torque from the 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine, while delivering fuel consumption of 5.7L/100km (combined average).

The fuel economy leader of the CLA Shooting Brake range is the CLA 200 CDI, with a combined fuel consumption figure of 4.3 litres/100km.  The 2.1-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine produces a maximum output of 100kW and 300Nm of torque.

The 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine in combination with the performance oriented all-wheel drive system, leads to extremely dynamic performance: the CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake accelerates from 0-100kmh in 4.7 seconds, while its top speed is 270 kmh (electronically limited).
