Man's nose bitten off by dog

A MAN has undergone emergency surgery after his nose was bitten off by a dog in Sydney's west.

The 30-year-old was attacked in St Marys late Saturday.

He was taken to the Nepean Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

The dog was reported by paramedics to be a rottweiler.

Investigations are continuing
