Man suffers burns to 25% of his body after pump explosion

A MAN has suffered burns to 25% of his body after a hot water pump explosion.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics received a call about 5.30pm last night reporting a man had suffered burns.

The man was treated at the scene of his River Rd home at Bungadoo and taken to Bundaberg Hospital in a serious condition.

 

He was then immediately transported to Brisbane.

His condition is unknown.
