Man charged with murder over far north Qld death

A 43-year-old Aurukun man has been charged with one count of murder following investigations into the death of a 30-year-old man in far north Queensland on Saturday night.

The man is due to appear in the Aurukun Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Investigations into the death and other incidents that occurred over the weekend in Aurukun  are continuing, police said in a statement on Monday night.
