POLICE have charged a man following an alleged assault that occurred on Saturday in Mount Perry.

A 29-year-old man presented to Bundaberg Hospital with fractures, head injuries and burns.

Police will allege that the man was assaulted on March 27 at an address on Heusman St.

A 32-year-old Kepnock man has been charged with one count each of grievous bodily harm, deprivation of liberty, torture and acts intended to main/disfigure or disable.

He is due to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Monday.
