Man ‘assaulted’ security guards at Goondiwindi pub

A 19-YEAR-old Goondiwindi man has been arrested after allegedly assaulting security staff at a pub in Goondiwindi.

Police were called to the Marshall St pub on Sunday after the man reportedly 'struck out' at security staff when he was asked to leave.

He has been charged with assault, public nuisance and being disorderly on a licensed premises.

The man is due to face Goondiwindi Magistrates Court on March 8.
