Man arrested over Barbeques Galore break and enter

A MAN has been arrested after allegedly breaking into Barbeques Galore in Gympie yesterday.

Police responded to a report yesterday that an offender had broken into the store on the corner of Excelsior Rd and Hyne St early in the morning.

Later in the day, officers located a purple ute they will allege was used in the crime.

Police arrested a man after searching the vehicle.

The man is now facing property offence charges, break and enter charges and drugs charges.
