Man and woman robbed by 3 armed men in home invasion

POLICE are investigating after a man and a woman were robbed in an Ashgrove unit by three armed men last night.

Around 11.45pm the man answered a knock at the door of the Ashgrove Avenue address when three men armed with knives entered the unit.

The men demanded money and property, escaping with cash and two mobile phones.

The occupants, an 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were not physically injured during the incident.

The three men were described as having shirts wrapped around their heads and were last seen running west along Ashgrove Avenue.
