Lucky to miss

A YOUNG Gympie man who failed to land a punch, after a verbal dispute at a Noosa nightclub, was lucky not to have killed his antagonist, Gympie Magistrate M Baldwin said yesterday.

She told Bradley Allan Jennings, 21, "There are "a lot of good people in jail who only made one mistake.

"You could have been the one dead, because you got a punch too.

"It's hard to imagine rum and Coke tastes so good you would go to jail," she said, placing Jennings on an $800, 12-month good behaviour bond.
