Hardcore metal band launches EP

GYMPIE hardcore metal band What She Deserves is inviting you to help them celebrate the release of their new EP, Farewell.

The band has organised an all-ages gig for September 23 at Gympie Civic Centre, supported by special guests Willows, Asteya and Perfect Imperfections.

Brisbane band Willows formed earlier this year and has an “individual sound that holds fast to the catchy rock ballads the musicians are renowned for”.

Asteya, a five-piece alternative metal act from the Sunshine Coast, consists of mind-numbing, unbelievably fast bass, dynamic polyrhythmic drumming, soothing riffs and a voice to scare the birds away.

Metalcore band Perfect Imperfections will round off an awesome line-up of original hardcore music.

After their EP launch, the boys from What She Deserves plan on breaking into the scene “like no one has before”.

So keep an eye out for this exciting local band, they are developing a huge following of fans from all over Australia.

Already more than 200 people have RSVP'd their attendance at the all-ages gig next month.

“Come out and support the local scene,” the boys said.
