GYMPIE’S Betta Electrical in Perseverance Street will cease trading early next week.

Owner John Jeffrey said yesterday, personal reasons were behind the decision to close.

He said all customers with goods on lay-by or order were being contacted and any deposits on goods not yet delivered would be refunded.

“Anyone with orders will be contacted and monies refunded or whatever,” Mr Jeffrey said.

He said Betta Electrical still had its doors open and was still trading until such time as all stock was removed or the doors closed early next week.

Anyone with lay-bys could come and collect their goods over the next couple of days.

Mr Jeffrey said some stock from the shop was going back to suppliers yesterday with more to go over the next couple of days but there were still white goods for sale.
