Murdoch's tank is a good egg
I KNOW we all feel the need to venerate people who have fought in wars, but my personal heroes are people like my sister, who have spent their adult lives teaching in the inner cities, or nurses in hospitals who endure all kinds of traumatic and disturbing situations all for the sake of caring for patients without any of the glory or status that doctors receive. I don't think killing people is that virtuous of a thing to devote yourself to.
In any case, this life-sized Challenger II tank made out of 5,016 egg cartons by artist Stuart Murdoch to benefit injured British soldiers is pretty cool, especially if you think about the soldiers being the eggs that need to be broken in order to make a geopolitical omelette. Something something.
