Kids won't have time to get bored with planned holiday fun

"I'M BORED" should not come out of the mouths of Gympie region kids these school holidays as a bunch of fun, creative and different activities are being served up for children of all ages.

Creative workshops are on offer at the Gympie Regional Gallery, covering topics such as painting, drawing, architecture, cartooning, illusion, sculpture and printing.

The Gympie Library is giving children the chance to make a fun mess at the grassy head workshop and the Lego competition and the fun cartooning workshop should activate the creative juices.

And to celebrate Gympie's National Youth week, activities on the Mary St City Centre Stage on Wednesday, April 3 will be fun for the whole family.

A live DJ set, jousting arena, face-painting, barbecue and a velcro sticking wall are just a few of the fun things lined up for the day.
