The inaugural Emerging Talent Showcase will also be on display, with young up-and-comers and special guests from across the country performing every day of the festival.

For those making their first trip to the Muster, staffer David Bland has a few pieces of key advice for any "Muster virgins" at the festival.

"Have a look at the schedule for your favourite performers, and always keep be prepared for any kinds of weather," he said.

Officials are hopeful yesterday's rain won't be appearing, but plans are in place in the event of wet weather.
