RENOWNED community facilitator Peter Kenyon returned to the Mary Valley yesterday, with a workshop for residents, business operators and professionals at the Garapine Centre, near Kandanga.

The leadership workshop, designed to help motivate the Valley and Gympie Region community, was followed by a business dinner at Gympie Civic Centre.

Organisers said the workshops were designed to help businesses take advantage of key leadership concepts and to take advice on building healthy communities.

The visit follows Mr Kenyon’s motivational visit to the Valley last month.

Organisers hope the visits will help the Valley develop a new positive direction after the damage caused by the Traveston Crossing dam proposal.
