Kenyon to return to Mary Valley

MOTIVATIONAL speaker Peter Kenyon, who amped up the optimism of Mary Valley residents, says he will return next month and is “amazed” by the resilience and enthusiasm of the area’s residents and business people.

Currently working also in the Middle East, Mr Kenyon made a good show of turning around the mindset of the Mary Valley during 36 inspiring hours last week. Mr Kenyon attended community meetings at Dagun, Amamoor, Federal, Carters Ridges and Imbil.

He also took part in a community meeting at Kandanga Hall on Thursday night and a business breakfast at Kandanga Bowls Club the next morning.

He visited the area as a paid guest of the Mary Valley Renewal Team, effectively turning around the mindset of an area still recovering from the damaging effects of the Traveston Crossing dam proposal.
