JKS Gympie Karate Club on a roll

RECENTLY members from JKS Gympie Karate Club competed successfully in the Australian Karate Super League Tournament at the Redbank Sports Complex on Sunday, July 4.

Head Instructor Andrew Quinn was pleased with the results from his team, saying they speak volumes about the students’ commitment.

“Considering it was only the club’s second tournament since forming in August last year, these results show the dedication and hard work the students put in at training each night.”

Australian Karate League Tournament Results: Mikayla Newton placed third for grade division green belt, female under nine.

Daria Mostofizadeh fourth for grade division brown belt female under nine.

David Mostofizadeh second for grade division black belt male under 11.
