Karate club has plans to grow

GYMPIE Karate Club Sensei Noel Turner has used a series of seminars over the last few months to appeal for new members to join the bustling club.

The most recent seminar was conducted in Bundaberg last weekend, focusing on a number of karate disciplines and refining the fundamentals of the disciplined sport.

This year, the Gympie Karate Club is looking at further growing its membership base and Turner is keen on welcoming new members.

A supportive and caring environment for the club’s members helps to bring out the best during weekly training sessions.

Members who are prepared to put in the hard work enjoy the benefits of their efforts when gradings are conducted, earning a new rank.
