Junior Devils ready for finals

WHILE the Gympie Devils A and Reserve Grade sides launch their finals campaigns today, two junior Devils teams are also in the hunt.

Both the Under 15 and 13 junior Devils outfits are in B Grade semi-final action today away in Caloundra against Stanley Rivers.

Gympie Junior Rugby League publicity officer Celine Jackson was excited about the teams’ chances.

“Both teams finished as minor premiers and have been playing good footy this season,” she said.

Finishing on top of the ladder gives the teams a second bite at the finals cherry should they lose today.

Meanwhile, the mini mods junior competition concluded last weekend and was won by Titans who overcame the Broncos.
