According to Mr Dorman he captured the images of three aliens which he described as like a frog, preying mantis and humanoid.

Mr Dorman said he decided to go public with the images because he wanted to see how the public would react.

The 73-year-old arrived in Toowoomba in 1966 and said it was the first time he'd seen extraterrestrial creatures.

"I never believed in them before, as far as I was concerned it was just Hollywood," he said.

"But when I saw them, I wasn't surprised, I have always judged that there is a possibility there are other life forms that don't look like us."

Mr Dorman also claims to have photographed ghosts, which he said were identified by their "black eyes".
