Rates notices arrive in the mail

SUNSHINE Coast Regional Council rates notices have started to arrive in letterboxes this week for 155,000 properties in the region.

Rates payments are due by February 24, 2012.

There are a variety of payment options available including paying online, by telephone, in person at any post office, in person at the Council's Customer Contact Centres, or by mail.

If you cannot make payment by the due date, arrangements can be made to pay by instalments. As long as you meet the conditions of the arrangement, the council will not charge any interest on this current half-year's rates.

For rates enquiries, you can email the council to rates@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au or telephone 5475 7542, or visit the council's website www.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au
