Invitation to plan your future

ONLINE or off, Gympie people have been invited to help plan Queensland's future, for the next 30 years.

MP David Gibson said all Queenslanders could now have their say on six questions, collaboratively developed at last week's summit in Mackay.

And for those who prefer to avoid computers, Mr Gibson said he and his staff would be on hand at the Gympie Show, fully equipped with paper survey forms and the pens needed to "operate" them.

Premier Campbell Newman said the questions reflected a consensus view of the delegates who attended the Mackay summit.

"The questions were developed from a collaborative process involving more than 400 community, industry and government representatives at the summit," he said.
