Internet mocks Bishop with memes over #choppergate
THE internet has taken the torch to Bronwyn Bishop over the choppergate scandal.
The politician has been in the spotlight following her decision to charge taxpayers for a short helicopter ride to a political fundraiser.
Prime Minister Tony Abbott has put her on "probation" following the $5000 taxpayer-funded helicopter flight.
Using the hashtag #choppergate, Twitter users have mercilessly mocked Bishop with memes.
Many of them show Bishop doing outrageous things.
The most shared is of the politician "walking the dog" using a helicopter.

Toowoomba residents have been outraged by the scandal with at least two calling for the politician to resign.
