The infant onesie teaching parents baby CPR

WHAT a smart idea.

St John Ambulance and Tesco in the UK have teamed up to create a infant's onesie that teaches baby CPR.

With the help of Humpty Dumpty, the babygrow provides all the life saving information a parent would need to help them remember what to do in the event of an emergency.

Graphics on the front of the onesie outline the steps of baby CPR. A full list of instructions are also included inside the neck of the garment.

The steps are:

1. Call an ambulance

2. Give five puffs over nose and mouth

3. Give 30 pumps to the centre of the chest using two fingers

4. Give two more puffs over nose and mouth

5. Give 30 more pumps to chest

6. Repeat steps four and five until ambulance arrives

St John Ambulance developed the onesie after parents revealed a baby not breathing is their biggest first aid emergency fear, yet only one in four know what to do.

Tesco will give away free limited edition babygrows at selected stores next week.

I'd love to see these in Australia. Who's with me?
