How a simple night can get a whole lot more expensive

DID you know that a police officer can ban you from one licensed venue, an area or even every licensed venue in Gympie?

If you misbehave you can be issued an on-the-spot Police Banning Notice for 10 days.

This can be extended to three months or even 12 months if you appear before a Magistrate and are issued with a court ordered ban.

But they don't have to stop there.

Not only bans but fines can also be issued on the spot.

Commit any of these offences in or near a licensed venue and expect a hefty fine.

Fines:

$353 - offensive language

$706 - disorderly behaviour

$706 - offensive behaviour

$706 - threatening behaviour

$706 - violent behaviour

$235 - public urination
