Housekeeping for Albert Park

ALBERT Park is always kept in meticulous condition but the bar is being raised ahead of the Australian Cricketers’ Association Masters Tour next month.

The Gympie Cricket Association and Gympie Regional Council have looked at every opportunity to ensure Gympie makes a good impression for the team of Australian cricket stars arriving in town.

Fertiliser has been used to give the lush Albert Park grass a helping hand, while Albert Park Wicket 1 will be rested for the next three weeks from local fixtures, guaranteeing it will be in top playing order.

Meanwhile, the grandstand roof has been freshly painted.
