Highway rollover

OCCUPANTS of a green sedan were lucky to walk away from the smashed wreck after their car rolled yesterday at 2.54pm on the Bruce Highway at Spring Valley, north of Gympie.

It appears the driver lost control in the wet road conditions, veering off the road, the sedan landing on its roof on the northbound verge about halfway along the overtaking section.

Gympie emergency crews attended the incident.

There were no traffic hold-ups, with north and southbound motorists unimpeded.
