Hervey Bay Bombers wary of uncertain Maroochydore
HERVEY Bay Bombers coach Tony Potter will approach Saturday's game against Maroochydore with an open mind.
"To be honest I don't really know what to expect,” Potter said. "I don't know what they will dish up.
"We'll have to play our own way and not how they want us to play.”
It's something of which his side were guilty in their two games last week. Both were heavy losses: 61 points to Bay Power then 39 points to Brothers Bulldogs.
Potter's fifth-placed side will be without up to seven players who were part of those teams due to injury and general unavailability.
Maroochydore will be a new test for the Bombers.
The third-placed Roos lost their first game to the Power by 20 points then beat Gympie by 21 points last week.
First bounce is at 2pm.
