Hearts swelled at launch
PEOPLE are already raving about this year’s Heart of Gold International Film Festival after a well-supported program launch on Thursday night.
Artistic director Malcolm Blaylock said the launch was a great night and he had some “exceptionally good” feedback.
He said fans had received a sense of the program and were excited.
“Everyone seemed very positive and happy – I hope that translates into ticket sales,” he said.
“It was a great atmosphere.”
Mr Blaylock said although he had never been to the Heart of Gold festival he had a sense of what it was like.
“The style is slightly different, but it was generally well received and people liked the presentation.”
