Hammer-wielding robber caught on police CCTV footage

DO you know this man? Detectives want to speak to him about a terrifying armed robbery of a pizza store, in which staff were threatened with a hammer.

According to police, two men -- one armed with the hammer -- went into the store in Deception Bay on October 4 about 11pm.

The armed man jumped the counter and demanded cash.

On Tuesday, police released CCTV footage of the incident.

The staff member complied and the two men then fled on foot. They were last seen crossing Deception Bay Rd towards Brisbane Crescent.

The armed man was described as about 184cm tall with a heavy set and the other man was described as about 180cm tall also with a heavy set.
