Gympie's two Margies a country music hit

MARGARET Harris and Margaret Bye's performance of You Ain't Woman Enough To Take My Man was a big hit with the audience at the Gympie Country Music Club's recent concert.

The two Margies dressed up to perform for the crowd, which was also captivated by guest singer Alec Beckett.

Profits from the concert were donated to the Cedar Pocket Hall Committee, which also provided the excellent afternoon tea.

The Gympie Country Music Club is holding its next concert at the Senior Citizens Centre, in Mellor St, this Saturday at 1pm.

All the favourite artists will be performing as well as a few surprise entertainers.

Members of the club look forward to seeing all their regular patrons there for the afternoon. Admission is $7 each which includes afternoon tea and there'll be great raffles in time for Mother's Day.

Alf will be available with the bus - if you need a lift, give him a call on 5484 9158.
